The Beijing-Zhangjiajie Railway was completed in 1909 and is China's first state-owned railway. In order to welcome the 2022 Beijing Olympic Winter Games, the newly opened Beijing-Zhanghai high-speed railway replaced the old Beijing-Zhanghai Railway with a century-old memory more than 100 years later, and the old railway line will be transformed into a 9-kilometer-long ribbon ruin park with a new identity And appearance has a positive effect on the city again.
INSCAPE-Architecture participated in the urban design stage with Tom Leader Studio. Node 1 relies on the Dazhong Temple business district, introduces a cultural and leisure axis to sew the east and west sides of the railway, and tightly combines the portal of Jingzhang Ruins Park with an integrated transportation hub, shopping plaza, museum, and art center to create a regional leisure cultural tourism destination. Node 2 will open the original sports venue and combine the cycling and walking lines in the TLS "Eight Major Moving Lines" to promote a green and healthy lifestyle; set up a three-dimensional farm in the urban renewal area to promote the integration of planting-breeding-collection-cooking Modern agricultural and fresh consumption patterns.
